Salsa & Merengue
For
students above the age of 15.
The first level in our Latin expedition, the salsa is a hot and spicy dance, aimed at having fun, and getting down and dirty, with rhythms from the Congo! Beginning at the basic levels, students will attend eight classes a month, where in addition to the basic steps of both the Salsa and Merengue they will be taught, various techniques like partnering, hold, lead, etc.
Note: After progressing through all the levels of Latin Rhythms, students who show promise will be trained further in the ISTD Technique and can audition to join our Latin Rhythms Dance Troupe.
