Neha John
elan has been founded by Neha John. She has a Diploma in Movement Arts and Mixed Media from Attakkalari, Bangalore. She has had the privilege of studying under celebrated teachers such as Inga Sterner (France), Chris Ziegler (Denmark), Bertha Bermudez (Amsterdam), Nans Martain (France), Chris (England), Christine (England) and many others. She has also dabbled in martial arts such as Kalarippayattu and Capoeria. Neha has studied Latin Ballroom in the ISDT (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing, London) technique. Also trained in Salsa, Merengue, Bachata and world folk she has been teaching dance for 4 years. She continues to expand her repertoire, with a Diploma in Bharatanatyam from the SNDT University, Mumbai.
Her performances include ‘Love is in the Air’, a Poorbox production and ‘let her be born’ a Beej production performed at the prestigious Kala ghoda arts festival 2009 and other venues like NCPA (National Centre for performing Arts), Awishkar, Bright Day (Baroda), TISS, Homi Bhabha Theatre, Prithvi etc… She has performed and choreographed for the prestigious Kalaghoda Festival, where she premiered her first production ‘Mumbai’. She has performed at various corporate shows, and has conducted various corporate workshops.
